Reminder to City of Venice voters: vote-by-mail ballots due in elections office by 7 p.m. November 7
|(SARASOTA, FL) Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is reminding voters, who choose to vote by mail in the November 7 City of Venice General Election, to complete and return their voted ballots promptly so that they reach the supervisor of elections no later than 7 p.m. on election night.
Ballots may be returned by mail or in person to any one of the following three elections offices:
· Sarasota County Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota, 34237
· R.L. Anderson Administration Building, 4000 Tamiami Trail S., Venice 34293
· Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail, North Port 34287
Turner also urges voters to read and follow the instructions included with vote-by-mail ballots to ensure their ballots are counted. Voters must complete and sign the ballot certificate envelope and the voter’s signature must match the signature on file in the voter registration database.
