Public Invited to L&A for Town of Longboat Key Preliminary Election |

| (SARASOTA, FL) Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent invites the public to observe the logic and accuracy testing of the county's voting and tabulating equipment to be used in the January 26, 2010 Town of Longboat Key Preliminary Election. The testing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the supervisor of elections office, 1st floor, Sarasota County Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota, Florida. Florida law requires the supervisor of elections to conduct a public test of the county's automatic tabulation equipment and reporting software prior to each election to ensure it is operating and recording accurately. |
