SOE offers early voting for March 16 Special Referendum and LBK General Election |

| (SARASOTA, FL) Early voting for the March 16, 2010 Special Referendum and Town of Longboat Key General Election will begin on Monday, March 1 and continue through Sunday, March 14, Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today. During the early voting period, eligible voters may cast their ballots at any of the three Supervisor of Elections offices in Sarasota, Venice, and North Port between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Florida Law requires voters to present photo and signature ID upon entering the polling place and prior to voting. A voter who appears at the polls without photo and signature ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
