The oldest of eight children, Liz grew up in a small town in Illinois. Her father was a long-distance truck driver and her mother stayed at home to raise the children. Neither of Liz’s parents attended college. But that didn’t stop Liz--she was determined to earn her college diploma. While raising three daughters, she finally achieved her goal, graduating from the University of South Florida in 1995 with a degree in Mass Communications.
But, Liz had another childhood dream – to become an attorney. Again, she worked and planned to achieve her goal, graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 2005. For the past eight years, Liz has practiced family law, running her own firm, Alpert Law P.A.
