Update Your Voter Information

If you are already registered to vote in Florida but need to update information on your voter registration record, follow the examples below to determine how best to update your information.
 

If you have moved within Sarasota County or from another Florida county, you may update your address:
 

 

You may change party affiliation at any time, but it must be done at least 29 days before a primary election to be valid for that election. You may change your party affiliation:
 
If you wish to register without party affiliation, check the "No party affiliation" box on the voter registration application. Select the following link for a list of political parties registered with the state of Florida.

 

If your name has changed, you must update your voter registration record. You may do so:
 

 

Your signature is very important in the elections process. It is used to verify your signature on vote-by-mail ballot certificates and on candidate and initiative petitions. If your signature or identifying mark has changed, you may update it:
 

 

If you no longer wish to be a registered voter in Sarasota County, please fill out and sign the Removal of Voter's Name form (English/Español) and mail, fax, email or deliver the completed form to the elections office.
