Temporary Elections Specialist
Primary focus is on effective and efficient customer service, data entry and use of computers and technology for processing vote-by-mail ballot requests.
Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate work requirements that could include regular steady shifts, short or long hours or intermittent days of work; customer service experience in a public service or business environment; excellent computer skills including data entry and the ability to learn new programs and software; ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written); detail oriented; capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; capable of working with all elections departments effectively to support additional projects and workload as needed.
Able to work overtime as needed due to workload; possession of a valid driver license for some tasks.
Bilingual in English and Spanish; ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Background check will be conducted for tasks requiring work in the Florida Voter Registration System.
