If you are a member of the military or a military dependent and are living outside Sarasota County (stateside or overseas), or are a civilian voter living overseas, please use the Military/Overseas Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form.

Under Florida law, all voters are permitted to vote by mail (absentee). This request is valid for one(1) registered voter only. Important: Effective Jan 1, 2014, a request for a ballot to be mailed to an address other than the one on file with the elections office, must be in writing and signed by the voter. (Exception: absent uniformed service and overseas voters). In this case, please do not use the online request form. Instead, print and sign this vote-by-mail ballot request form if the address to which you want your ballot mailed differs from the address on file with us. If you need assistance, call 941-861-8618.
